Awesome summery of last few days

Went to geelong show, spent lotta money, stood around watching people, noticed that just about all the couples there have similar body types. nicole insists it's the skull shape. I need a new hobby.
While I went to see sheep at agriculture tend, grandma went "oh look meg, sheep!" turned around to see a bunch or hung, bloody, decapitated sheep. Tact.
I DID see some alive sheep, the heritage breeds were gorgeous.
Won a giant panda, yay

Also got exalted with sha tari, also got trinkie, funny SS

New physics student teacher, apparently dropped out of physics course because it made him hate life and decided teaching was easier, haha.
he has a bad habit of if you have a question, explaining it, then when somone say I get it, ty taking up another ten min of class time going though 10 more examples like he cant hear us.
He also while explaining tends to go down into a mumble "light acts as a particle and wave kdjgtht snell's law dhgudhguhilzngh and that's why I hate peanuts" and we're like, what?

I suppose in a culture built on sexuality and how things appear, I might have my dig at it.

This was sort of bought on by watching America's next top model or some bullocks like that and having this thing on how beauty is mostly defined by symmetry and thought I'd investigate that, see if I can chop off half my face and regrow a copy of the other half thanks to DEAD BABY research.

The first is an original, this sorta made me think,

The altered symmetry on the left looks a bit younger in my opinion,beside the fact I look grumpy and tired. Shorter chin, smaller, wider face. kinda not as pretty symmetrical as I hoped, I'm marginally more pleased with the one on the right, looks allot more cheerful and defined features in my opinion, longer, thinner and brighter eyes. the symmetry is allot better, the face is spread out and such.

My general conclusion is that I really don't look much prettier in the mirror. Maybe I'm just not beautiful in general and that's why this doesn't work, or maybe it only works on the TV's or post photo shop. regardless, I'm sure the general conclusion would be, myth busteeeed

I went to melbournes and saw, ran from Tom cruise, photo evidence, he was pouncing on me!!!!! XP

I also had a delicious breakfast at invista (spelling?) a vegetarian/vegan cafe outside victoria markets. The potato rosti was a little blander than usual though, but you problay dun care about that xP

I also got one of those mario mushroom candies, EPIC, I seriously don't know how that game didn't get a drug advisory "...Woah....I just ate this mushroom and my hands are HUGE! and I feel INVINCIBLE!?" yeah, but now I can go up to ppl offering mushroom candy telling them it'll make them large and invincible....maybe not!

I also baught some mogu mogu and chocolate I'm eyeing off right now that is very unfortunately, not mine......Yeah....

But seriously, for a small chain company, the consistency of the quality of chocolate is FABULOUS! It's easily my favourite chocolate company after the late Chocolate fire, you will be missed. Lots off SUPER dark choc, up to 99%.

I also finished my oddish toy and nearly all my cosplay, still need my hat, some gloves I can buy and staff detail..*cough*

Oh, oh! awesome shoelaces too. they haff smiley faces!!!!!!!!!!

Revolutionary Girl Utena

A very confusing show to say the least, with most of the concepts being hard to grasp some seeming very sick or unnessisary until much later (ie; characters ripping off their shirts, taking people for a ride in cars changing their life and phallic looking towers)

The main character is Utena Tenjou, a tomboyish teenage girl who was so impressed by a kind prince in her childhood that she decided to become a prince herself (expressed in her manner of dress and personality). She attends Ohtori Academy, where she meets a student named Anthy Himemiya, a girl who is in an abusive relationship with another student. Utena fights to protect Anthy and is pulled into a series of sword duels with the members of the Student Council. Anthy is referred to as the "Rose Bride" and is given to the winner of each duel. As Anthy is thought to be the key to a coming revolution, the current champion is constantly challenged for the right to possess the Rose Bride.

This series is fantastic in its use of symbology, using archetypal images (Prince, princess, witch, demon, bride, villagers) as the basis for characters. If you look into these simplistic images, it's the key to unraveling the mystery of the loosely threaded plot. (Anthy having Chu Chu, a familiar and changing people into animals, Utena's transformation from a princess to prince, back again, Dios' transformation into Akio, a princess waiting for someone to save him)

I find Dios very interesting, at first I thought hmmm, he isn't real, is he? is he just the car Utena is riding on so to say? if you look at the ending credits, you can see how aloof he is and ectomorphic.

The whole "lesbian" thing in this series is overrated, and that's me saying that, the first few eps are dodgey just to grab attention from the mail masses. The starting cerdits would drive anyone off......ewwwwww

It rode on this ideal of changing the world or a characters view on it (Jury's feverous desire to disprove miracles that seems to happen to everyone but her). Often, these desires include revolutionising another person, which brings up the can of worms of "you can only change yourself" attitude in psychology. Which I agree with.

The main idea of true revoltion atthe end, the Akio car saga. It's an embodiment of what Akio wants, he rides apon the Ohtori (his number plate) academy to regain his powers, his revolution.

(Oh come on, you all know the academy isn't a normal place, right?)

When you watch the movie you see Anthy's Car being Utena, and Utena's car being the student council, her friends. Which brings up interesting ideas about motives...But that movie is stupid and refuse to acknowledge it!!!!!

There is also some interesting imagery in the background, baloons, animals, elephants, apples, cars, chairs, removal of clothes (it symbolises an opening of the person that wouldn't normaly happen btw!!!) that the characters seem to not notice! I think that the message in this is too easy to miss and isnt overly relevent unless you want to analyse the heck out of this series, which would be a bit of a task...

The main thing I took out of this series is Dios remains a seperate entity, as Akio was a "lord of the flies" before he was imbued with the power of Dios.

As, after all, there seems to be alot of dialog and interaction between Dios and other characters that Akio doesn't understand, in fact, the whole sword of Dios remains seperate from Akio when the duels are going on, and the whole spirit of Dios inhabiting Utena is heavily implied. But I'm not sure how far you'd get on that tangent as there isnt much beside the series to examine.

Just pay close attention or you'll get left behind with the car taking driving off without you and guys ripping their shirts off o.o (Show me a way that can't be seen as dodgey and I'll show you a liar)

Any ways, I'm done my rant for now, I just found some stuff in this series facinating and recomend you give it a try!

My GAT is kinda freaking me out, I have no idea what to expect, will it cover stuff I wouldn't know yet since it's a general test meant for a year above me....erghhhhh.....I found out yesterday there's a massive writing section, and looking at past papers, it's purposely made so nobody can relate or fel any passion for the subject (diamond mining....lol)

Physics is intimidating me and I've stuffed up my circut somehow, teacher says he has no idea, I think from my probing with a voltmetre that is must be the USB, but that's all too late >>
